To be played at Nantwich according to the official site.

Tues Apr 5th according to Nantwich, Apr 12th according to the Cheshire FA.

Typically tinpot that even the date of the final can't be arranged properly.

Nantwich suits me fine. only a 40 min drive from Shrewsbury and a decent ground.

It will be nice to watch us beat the Slime.

Bloody freezing at Nantwich on Sunday watching the youth team fight through the claggy spare/warm up/practice pitch by the side of the stadium. Stadium itself was nice though, and the proper stadium pitch looked in very good nick indeed. It's a bit soulless out there with no shops in close proximity. They'll need to fix the drinks machine too.

A previous post states that the date of the 12th was the cut off date by which the final had to be played and was not the actual date of the fixture

Is there likely to be a supporters coach to this game?

We will be there, no matter what some of you clowns think about the Cheshire Senior Cup.
It is a cup final, we are in it and we are are playing the green slime.
We will batter them absolutely batter them, what more could we ask for?
It will be interesting to see how many supporters we take though seeing as many of our forumites have slagged the competion off. My advice, bite the bullet, turn up, support the lads and enjoy the night.
Oh and it will be my lads first cup final so we are really looking forward to it.

Whos hair brained idea was it to not stage this game at witton? Its now at a ground thats virtually in birmingham, has no cover behind either goal,no segregation, and the last train back is at 2105 from the station thats about 3 miles away from the ground.utter stupidity, this will knock at least 300 off the attendance,it beggers belief..... i hope both clubs complain

I still think Crewe is the best venue for the CSC final. Decent ground, near the station and town centre.

There is a train from Crewe at 22.13. You arrive at Alty via Piccadilly at 23.46. The next one leaves Crewe at 0.44 and arrives at Manchester Airport at 01.34.

They wouldn't let us play Vics at Witton, that's asking for trouble, Vics's ground is spitting distance away.

Plus it was Vic's home whilst the marina complex was being built so it'd be an unfair advantage :)
