An informative update....thanks

Just one constructive response;

While I agree the new website is a much needed modern looking platform and understand it is a work in progress advice to use a different browser is unlikely to be taken up......if I can't see a browser in my preferred browser I'm not going to open up google chrome which I hate ( or firefox which I thought was a sonic the hedgehog character)  specially to look at one website...even if it's Alty's official website...

I look forward excitedly to the chairman's update on how the marketing of the share investment is going...

Do you think their might be a possibility that the new directors have bought shares in the club?

They did, however not all of them.

I await Rob updating us on the plan to sell them

Burton were fortuitous enough to have a massive cup run, shortly followed by another great one - and reinvested the money into developing assets that will generate long term, reliable income. That's what we're looking to do, with or without the cup run.

Perhaps some of that generated income should be spent on fan retention, potential to build a fan base rather than continually replace those that leave

Played like the player we should have never let go today.

Absolutely outstanding in the middle apart from a needless yellow card

The two new lads (Dale and Wynne) were also superb - Dale could have rivalled Simon richman for energy and Whmne made two outstanding saves to keep his clean sheet

However they were very poor, but that performance should and usually would beat most sides at this level.

The finishing was poor but extremely promising to see us routinely pull the trigger even if the shots were weak,

A very pleasing afternoon in North East

Sinnott syndrome strikes again... fear we maybe in for a mediocre season unless we adapt.

Perhaps StatsZone can tell us our passing accuracy (I suspect it's under 10%).

Parkinson's worst performance. One of the poorest showings I've seen in a long while at Moss Lane. No confidence, barely any football either.

Five points dropped this week against one average side and a team who in the bottom three

Could and should be second in the league.

Very disappointed

Very pleased to see this come to life. The initial lead came via Altrincham social, but credit to Mr Looney for taking it from a minor deal to a substantional relationship.

It's great to see the clubs social media start generating funds

I don't really understand why people are getting so steamed up about Salford. We never had much to do with them before and never will much in the future. Let's leave worrying about them until we have to play in the same division again.

Because Alty fans must have at least one other club to whine about. Shaw Lane last season.

Just let them get on with it.

Get off that high horse mate, you weren't keen on Shaw Lane.

I don't like Salford, not because they have money, but because we don't have that spending power (on and off the pitch). We don't have the infrastructure they've built up either. They've done it in a very strong way, similar to fleetwood.

They've built on and off the pitch in equal measure.

Were any IOM players sufficiently good enough to warrant Phil taking an interest in future?

I don’t think so, although apparently 5/6 of their regulars were away on holiday.

I’d like to think this fixture could become the traditional curtain raiser

They were substantially poorer than what I expected. But a lovely ground, very welcoming fans.

Just a shame no bar or food, soon remedied by letting us stock up cans and food from the shop

Get the content right, then you can play with the platform until your heart is content (From a Web master)

As much as you might want to hear about histons u17 bake sale, there is very little content astound atm.

Twitter figures show this as we’re down to 600,000 hits from 2 million a month.

Content will always ebb and flow (thought web masters died into Y2K)

A few points:

1) I looked at it from the point of view of a new potential supporter or visitor. Can they find the basic information they need quickly i.e. through one obvious link/click:
- when are the matches?
- how much is it?
- where is it?
- how do I get there?
- what are the facilities?

It took me a few clicks and a bit of searching  - most of the information is under the not so obviously named "Club" menu option.  Perhaps a more obvious link might be more helpful: something like "New to Alty?" , "First time visitors", "All the basics"....?

2) I couldn't see anything obvious about the availability of shares/investment opportunities (surprise, surprise).

3) I would think it would be a good opportunity to have the CSH  available for sponsorship as well as the stadium, main stand etc

4) The CSH is described as a registered charity, which is inaccurate and potentially misleading as far as I'm aware - it's certainly used by a registered charity, but to describe it as such suggests that users of the CSH are contributing to a registered charity, which they may not be.

I agree with these points; perhaps a link to Mike and Alison's details for a new fan who might more specific questions

Seems my comment has been deleted

I’ll try again: I have concerns that pop-up may lead to data issues. Certainly not okay with GDPR legislation introduced recently

Played for Kettering last season.

I'd take him back personally.
