No mention of hitting the bar on the goal line as of yet. Terrible miss.

But both goals showed something we've been missing the past few games. Shooting (Connors goal) and a mint deep low cross and hitting the box (hemmings)

I hope every county fan standing on the terraces designated as the home end are ejected.

If we are kind enough to let them have family stand and the pop side third we should tolerate nothing else.

Three in a row now against County.

Three times a very average side have strolled passed us. Maybe change it up next time?

As for the players, so much for wanting revenge.

On to Guiseley but I'll be spending New Year's Day elshwere.

Stockport were a very well organised side who were better than us all over the pitch today. They look far from average in this division.
I don’t see what revenge has to do with it? Why would that make you play any better?

Our side are quoted as saying as they were out for revenge that should probably inspire a more inspiring performance

They've spent most of the season in the middle 7 (7-14) so I would say it makes them average

Love this. These are the kind of stories I want associated with the club.

Extra stewards, a full segregation fence and a publicised plan to be announced on Stockport game segregation and plans.

Well done to the club for taking supporters concerns on board. Hopefully they let county fans know theyll haBe acces to shelter food and drink.

We are always going to have this issue with the ground on MOSS Lane and, unless the playing surface is raised significantly, we still might need to look at 4G as an option.
Looking at the highlights of our last match, the ground near the Pop Side is already looking somewhat dodgy!

Indeed, but fans invested money into covers under the impression they would be used in weeks like the ones we’ve just had. This is the wettest month of the year on average, and so far we’ve been told we can’t use them because:

a) United kids had a game and the pitch needed to breathe afterwards.
b) Work needed to be done and the groundspeople needed access to the surface.

Regardless of the outcome of today’s inspection I think we’ve got to ask the question of whether we’re using these covers to their full potential.

They were cited as a part of a summer campaign of work to combat the problems we have with our surface, but if the donators were told about points a and b I wonder how many would have still chipped in.

Perhaps more communication is needed midweek as to the work being done, and why. Not having a go here, I just think fans deserve a bit more information on something they collectively purchased, and we open ourselves up for criticism when we’re so quiet all week.

Or if we're not going to use them maybe offer to Trafford to ensure they have a game on (if logistically feasible)

Why is there a pitch inspection when we’ve paid ten grand for pitch covers? It’s winter weather

Precisely be good to hear why no call for volunteers if it's because of lack of man power etc.

Shame no post match interview yesterday. I'd have liked a few challenging question asked of the management team regarding team selection and prioritising of competitions.

A mixture of injuries and illness from what I was told. I dont think challenging questions are really required to be honest. We were slow to get going yesterday, but that was to be expected with the amount of changes. We actually had the better of the second half with 10 men and in the end could have nicked a draw.

I do. A poor showing in FA Cup and a poor showing in the troohy.

Very disappointing. Easy for older fans to write off the cup but not that easiest when all you've seen in Barnsley

I am going to apologise to Hashtag for playing the man rather than the arguement. I wil blame it on the beer.

Until we have the funds to do something about the lack of roof at the Chequers End there's no harm in showing a bit of compassion to visiting fans when conditions are as foul as they were yesterday.. I'd like to do that regardless of how we are treated at other grounds.

I didn't have a beer yesterday or today.

I had a very delicious Hot Vimto though. Served quick and efficiently.

Absolutely. At this level there is no need. No idea who HashtagAlty is but I can form an opinion of him from his posts.

And that is Cheshire cat? You'll find me at the majority of the games if you'd like to validate that opinion. Nothing wrong in being critical, it's the pathway to improvement.
