An interesting debate from 11 years ago.

And your point is?
Has attitudes changed now we have a established Ladies team?
Should the End of Season presentations include the Ladies and Reserve teams awards?

No and No
I personally still wouldn’t watch women’s if it was free and they along with the reserves should hold their own presentation night.

Agreed

Wished I'd have known it'd be such a scratch side.

Positives are Densmore got more under his belt. No injuries. No suspensions.

Hi,

Now we know our route to promotion. Does anybody have any idea of the times of the matches?

I'm assuming the home match on Wednesday will be a 19:45 kick off

Any idea of the kick off times for the Sunday games?

Thanks.

3pm if we get there

Having mentioned Tom Hannigan have any other Alty players got play off experience?

Alty won the play offs 5 years ago with Jake Moult, Shaun Densmore and Simon Richman in the side.

Drench has plenty.

Full trust in Parky and Sorvs should they wish to rotate heavily, slightly or not at all. For what it's worth I wouldn't want us to rest more than 2 or 3 and even then I would do so only if they are complaining about a niggle of some sort. We are a momentum team that goes on runs, and I'd hate for us to go into the play offs cold.

Blind optimism? Shown wrong calls against Stockport rotating players in the only time he's done it this year.

Im sure we played Heathcote and Richman in a shuffled back 4 away somewhere once too.

I may be wrong but I took it as a given that if we beat the 2nd placed team, we'd be at home v the 3rd place team. Like I say, probably wrong but would be good to find out for certain.

Not true. Highest place team in league position

We couldn't drink on the terraces last time we were up.

We were led to believe that was an assumption and we'd never checked with the council.

I think it would depend on the opposition but probably be okay for quite a few if segregated

Bollocks to we lost to a better team.

A unneeded and poor Mistake cost us 3 points. A draw would have been a fairer result. Same. As Blyth

If this side had cut out mistakes against Blyth held on last week and last night.

Wed be talking about an outside title jaunt over the last games

But Saturday showed. We're good.enouhh to win the league. So whatever happened over the next month I expect us playing. Conference football in 2020.

2014 promotion side would beat this side comfortably.

None of them

Have the all white with red trim from the Unibond league days.

If the white shorts clash they can be worn with the black shorts from the home kit.

That's sounds good. Photos?

Is that option?
It should be. The purple is fine. I don't quite get the concept of a change strip that still includes red and white - a fussy official could veto it.

Over 120 have voted, majority at today’s game, all giving very positive comments.

1200 people could vote, wouldnt neccesarily make it a nice kit.

Given you/SK Kits can provide any design. I'd hope wed have a much nicer design.

Anyone feel we should be aiming to do similar in the semi-near future? Interested to get people’s thoughts given they are Robins and had a crest not too dissimilar to ours. It’s a similar scenario.

I’d be for it myself as I find our crest to be dated, however to maximise the benefits of a new “recognisable” modern badge we would need to be much more well oiled in terms of marketing and commercial. Not sure we’re there yet.

A re badging is 5 years too early for this club sadly.

As for the title think all of County’s games will catch up with them now and I see Chorley comfortably crossing the line in first place.
Should that happen, and I really hope that it doesn’t, the meltdown on County’s forum would be something special. They’ve served their time down here now and haven’t adopted the Billy BB attitude that many do. Also, I really wouldn’t want to meet them in the playoffs.

I think the manner of the defeat to Fylde will. Have them playing conference North football next year
