Will this mean a reprieve for Forest Green?

Can FGR get a reprieve because aren't they in some financial trouble themselves?

FGR aren't under a CVA or in danger of points deduction at this moment in time. Knew we couldn't get rid of Sneaky Peaky THAT easily !

If they have been demoted two leagues, then it will be the same reasons as Vics - ie not paying their debt back before the required deadline.

I sincerely hope they find away to keep salisbury in the league. The thought of having to trek to FGR is making me feel sick.

Perhaps we could interpret the rules to push northwich into a lower league, and keep FGR out too.

Whilst an FGR reprieve is entirely tedious but no surprise whatsoever i wouldn't shed a tear for Salisbury. Neither will at least 20 other Alty fans. PYBB!!

One of the absolute highlights of my season was seeing Hughesy and Jimmy dancing with delight on the 'Flags' at the end of the Cambridge game when the official news came through that FGR were relegated !
That said I have this feeling that FGR, as much as I dislike Peake, 'will actually cut their cloth' and try and pay their debts and operate in a prudent manner (maybe even still go part-time if reprieved).
Somehow I don't think Salisbury will......they appear to be more concerned about pushing on with the spending and becoming a league team. From a selfish point of view we are better able to compete with the honest clubs of this division.

At least we know why FGR were provisionally put in the BSS rather than their preference of the BSN ... They knew they weren't going to actually play in it and it's a straight swap for Salisbury.
Looks like Northwich were a sacrificial lamb then to set a precedent!

If I read the article correctly, Salisbury have been demoted 2 leagues and therefore won't replace Forest Green in Blue Square Bet South.

That would leave the BSP a team short

More likely reprieve for FGR in BSP
Reprieve for Weston-S-M in BSS

Also
Boston were relegated two divisions (League 2 to BSN) and that reprieved us in BSP
