I completely get your sentiment and frustration. I am no apologist for the board/club/manager/team, but actions like this without some sort of "Plan B" could work against everyones best interests. The weaker the clubs finances, the less chance of attracting a suitable successor. Seems a little bit "chicken and egg" I guess - if the club was doing well and a going concern we wouldn't want a new chairman anyway.
I was looking at the Vics website today and read the message from their Chairman who basically seems to have written off whatever investment he has made (if any...I know not the details of what he may or may not have done...but I do look at their situation with some sadness and hope we do not end up in a similar mess). Boycotts seems a step in that direction however.
That said...I don't have any words of wisdom about how to resolve this mess
