Walshaw was so up for it when he came to Alty, he battles, put his effort in and you could he see he WANTED it.

His goals tally tells the story.

Before he was dropped, if that is the case, he was our star forward this season.

I simply dont get what LS is thinking.

The bottom line is, if LS persists in  putting Damo and James on the bench we won't have either of them next season. Then we WILL be up sh*t creek without the proverbial.

Play the team we ended up with at the end of yesterdays game and let's get amongst Telford from the off on Tue night.. we can beat most teams in this league by doing what we do best and that's passing it about on the ground. Forget the long ball lumping it fwd . Were no good at it.

If it stays dry between now & Tuesday evening it should be possible to play the passing game - let's hope so. The difference in the last half-hour on Saturday was so clear that even the proverbial blind bat could have seen it - with Walshaw on the field we carried a threat where previously we'd carried a passenger. I'll say no more than that - I just hope it was as clear to those in the dug-out as it was to the rest of us. I suspect Telford will provide the sternest test we've had so far - hope we'll be equal to it.
