4 -0  Dale hat trick..

I suspect that Dale was taken off in the first half due to the impending likelihood that he would match last season's goal tally in one game ;)

Looked to us like he got a whack off Billy McCartney early on. He was definitely feeling his knee so the substitution may have been strategic. Would be unusual in a friendly to take a player off before half time unless he was particularly poo

I believe Scott Barlow is on a contract and they want in the region of 5k for him which is probably why we've not made a move for him.

Yes, he definitely had some sort of injury as he received attention straight after coming off from the physio. He was also limping as he walked to the dugout in the second half.......as were one or two others.

It would be good for these goal/match updates to be put on Twitter too :)

looked a decent shape last night, liked the protection heff and robbie gave on the wing for matt and shuan to press, not sure about nicky clee yet

think danylk  and kearney could be the best partnership in the centre for now, williams looked a handfull and would defo bring him on chasing a game,

was an interesting moment when GH threatened to call the players off when a nasty challenge came in from trafford, otherwise perfect preperation ;D

Indeed, and live commentary streamed from each friendly as well.

Williams looked ok last night but looked a bit clumsy at Vics on Tuesday when he had to defend a bit. I don't think anyone has a verdict on Nicky Clee because he hasn't played yet!
