Most people will back him due to the length of time he has been with the club, his past record and the commitment he has shown. I have only been going to Alty since the Dagenham game last season so i can only comment on what i see and hear. I assume he has a long term plan for the club but i have no idea what it is so i can't say if i think it is good or not. If he wants the full support of everyone he should tell us what he is doing.

Look, if you're an Alty fan you should know what he is doing based on our position....we are a part time team in a full time league with by far the smallest wage bill and the only club who dont spend money on players, instead have a brilliant set up and a commited team of managers and directors that have lead the club into the top flight of non league football...you only have to look at his most recent comments to realise just how commited he is and just how much support he deserves...he was at the ground cleaning the changing rooms and working on the pitch when every other conference manager in the country was having a pre match meal...if your not going to give him your full support thats fine but dont say he should tell you what he is doing...why does he need to...if you cant already see how hard he works and where his heart is then you shouldnt call yourself an Alty fan! regardless of how long youve supported the club!

Agree with you there. It was the first game of the season. It's over and done with. I think people are just pissed off because we played well in the first half and just collapsed after the second went in.
If we play as well as we did in the first half yesterday then we should be easily capable of avoiding relegation even though that has to be the main priority. It all comes down to the fitness and as a part time team we won't be as fit as full time outfits like title challengers exeter. Fair play to all the lads yesterday and lets keep our heads up for halifax.

I get the feeling we won't be waiting till march for our first away win this season. Come on the super reds!

I was thinking exactly the same thing about 20 mins ago...i dont know what it is but I just feel we will be good away from home...the class and experience of tinson lane sedge and whalley will make the difference i think!
