Title: Try and look on the brightside!
Post by: Leighton_Alty on April 28, 2007, 08:24:07 PM
i know were all down and upset that we didn't win, but look on the brightside, next season is a chance to add more silver to the trophy cabinet, as today when we went on the pitch i asked all thwe players 'do you think we will bounce back' and they all replied 'DEFINITLY'
we may be down, but lets not go slating the team, they gave there all and they are just as upset as us!

SO COME ON ALTY NEXT SEASON!

Why?

If Grayson can play at 40+ then Col is still a baby!

Cols great and i'd love to see him back next year, but that looked like a right sitter he missed today. The one where the keeper couldn't pick up the backpass, maybe the keeper just did well cos he was a tw*t all day. Anyway thought the team worked their b*llocks off and were unlucky as usaual. Just an equaliser against Tamworth would have done it. grrr.
Heres to next season, it will be easier to get to some away games for me here in Tameside. If we've got the same players next season should win it easy. Would like to see more of Pat, he looks good when he comes on.

good news i think some will go though too old not good enough , ie talbot , val and a scott.   Senior , oneill little & rod could look good in conf north but its a different type of league.

i reckon val would do well in conference north again. he maybe getting a bit old but he's still more than capable me feels.

If we can get a decent wide midfielder(s) and lewis stays the middle 2 would be from bushell , lawton and chalmers .val  more of a squad player in my opinion, if he stays.

we need a soul left back so peyton can go LM. then we can put lewis back in the centre like yesterday.

I think a players age is less of a handicap in the lower divison but don't forget Alty are going to have to recast the budget to reflect lower gates maybe less ad income etc and some players may have to go... hope not though  ;D
