What the hell was that all about?
Reports differ but some say there were about 60 scrawny little sh*ts from Macc outside and trying to get into the game to cause bother. Saw a few of them outside before the game and they looked like average age 15 and rather pathetic, though I understand more turned up later.
Hope no Alty fans came to any harm, and big thanks to the professional job of work performed by the stewards who contained them and kept them out. Had they not been on their game it would have been very unpleasant indeed.
Just aghast that these Macc scum took the trouble to come all the way to Moss Lane just to stand outside the ground being dickheads
-
Its good that these small inbred village clubs have big days out. Even when their own team aren't playing
-
Send the little sh*ts to the Ukraine if the want to have a scrap.
-
Macc. Always forty years behind.

'Being dickheads' is the only thing they're good at.
-
Just what the hell is the point in such idiocy?
-
No way is this true? how did they all get here?

There is no 'f' in Macclesfield Town.
But as for these so called ootball ans, they're just uckwits.

Whilst the previous answer is funnier, I believe that their game against the Dog And Partridge pub in Wettenhall - they are in the South and East Cheshire pub league as I understand it - was postponed due to the weather, and so a coach load and a mini bus full diverted to Moss Lane to have an utterly pointless afternoon annoying the stewards and getting wet.
What a incredibly moronic thing to do.
-
Did they bring the camera crew for the documentary? ::)

It's still better than spending an afternoon with your mum/sister.

They were disappointed to find no sheep in Alty
-
They should have gone to Solihull, they could have met up with like minded idiots of a similar age. Potentially fighting for control of the local soft play establishment
-
It could be a taste of things to come. A double page spread in The Times today about football violence being back on the agenda amongst young teenagers including at the recent Notts County Grimsby match. The suggestion is that they are being groomed by the older generation.

That's right, blame the pensioners!
Hogging hospital beds and big houses. Gold plated pensions and free prescriptions... etc...
Now football hooliganism.
It's all our fault! 😂🤣😂🤣😂

The trouble is Saughall, it’s every buggers fault except the sh*tbags that carry out the hooliganism
-
Hypothetically speaking, say we had a game called off maybe at Notts County, if we asked our coach drivers to divert to Macc so we could misbehave do you think they would? Who organises their travel?
-
The way this country is at the moment, I'm afraid you're right DT.

You flatter yourself. You're the older older generation 😃
-
Thanks mate!
Still here though and have witnessed six championship seasons 😉
-
Hanging on in there indeed. Two more seasons to get a concession for me.
I was impressed to get in at Halesowen as a pensioner. That and the Samosas made it worth the trip
-
Good on ya cheshire. You'll soon be one of the old stagers like me reminiscing about the good times!
Let's hope there are lots of good times to come for us both! 😉

That's true, but if you're from Macc your mum or sister may very well also be your girlfriend.

It's no coincidence that these uprisings correlate with particularly right wing governments being in place.

Don’t know how you came to that conclusion.
Just maybe it’s down to very bad parenting by Mums and Dads who don’t give a toss or haven’t a clue what their little darlings are up to

Monkey see, monkey do.
These knuckle draggers - many of whom pitch up at football grounds on a Saturday afternoon - parrot whatever is fed to them.

Lots of people are liars!
So many people say you cannot believe a thing politicians say - but they believed everything they said about covid!

The odd thing about Johnson is he as good as admitted to being a liar circa 2002 in his Telegraph column.
I didn't believe the bit when he said he'd follow the science!

Funny thing is though...…..it's all a one-way street
When he says things that the papers and media pundits agree with, then he is believed and nobody bothers to challenge him to provide rationale behind his decisions.
When he says something that the papers and media do not agree with, then he is liar and an idiot and explanations are demanded.

Nothing funny about the character operating out of No.10, and your point about papers agreeing or disagreeing is not exclusive to this PM or any other. If you want to know something of his character you should read this character assassination from his former employer and editor at The Daily Telegraph. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/jun/24/boris-johnson-prime-minister-tory-party-britain

Thanks Jacob....I have no need to read up on his character...least of all from newspaper that you would expect to be unsupportive of him anyway and yet has helped carry him along for almost two years.
I think we all know what he is like and unfortunately there very few decent politicians in the UK representing us. It is all a big game to them and they wont be feeling the squeeze. I am one of the many politically homeless they have created between them
Up the Robins and a bumper crowd rocking on Saturday

Regardless of where the article was published, you do realise that Hastings was referring to his time as editor of The D Telegraph, a paper that, as far as I can recall, has ever been accused of Left-wing bias.

I think you meant never.
If I was Hugh I'd be feeling a bit peeved now. This clearly isn't about Alty first team now or even football.

It's not like it's the 134th thread with the same laboured point though.
