See on his twitter that he dislocated his knee tonight and has possible ligament damage, ouch. Was probably our best player before he went off and his finish was quality. Wish him well for a speedy recovery. Get well soon.

Big sympathy for Ben tonight. Doesn't sound good for him and he was our best player first half. Get well. More broadly Droylsden were shocking in their through the back tackles. I understand they are frustrated at losing big all the time, but that is no excuse for on pitch violence. It could have been Damian or Duncan instead of Ben that got his leg mangled.

Who it actually was doesn't matter. The referee was a total disgrace.

Spot on.

Thought Ben was starting to show what he could really offer today. And he's deserved his goal. Horrible challenge there. It could have been so much worse.

I'd like to offer Ben my best wishes for a full and speedy recovery, nothing ever changes at droylsden FC, thug outfit, always have been. The manager was bloody furious and quiet rightly at the lack of protection we were offered by the ref.

I'm surprised Ben wad the only casualty last night, some of Droylsdens tackling was abysmal! One by Chalmers in the centre circle 2nd half was terrible! I would also like to wish Ben a full and speedy recovery.

Shocking challenges going in last night.

Hope he recovers soon. I thought he was our best player first half and am sorry he won't be featuring again.

How bad is Leather's injury?

Indeed it's a shame. Seem to have just about settled. Hope he recovers soon.
