Police costs for football are expensive, but also needed some times, as you yourself know daz through your time liasing with them.I hope we have a police presence at moss lane for the viist of halifax in April, infact it might be insisted upon after last week at hyde and the moving of stalybridges fixture with halifax. Its an unwinnable situation. If the police get caught short, they come in for flack, yet if the do what they deem to be right regarding levels of policing, they get hammered also.

In addition to a small Police presence, I reckon Alty and Halifax will also work together closely to try and avoid a repeat of what happened at Hyde last week. We're used to dealing with situations like this, it's just a shame other clubs are so ill prepared.

Agreed we have a lot more experience of dealing with these issues. Hopefully if we are both still going for the play-offs it will bring in a bumper crowd
