....survive. The rest have all gone. What is that these managers see in James Lawrie? Honestly, after crowther and o'keefe he would have been first to go. Will miss Nicky Clee, quality player and also Luca , who apart from the last dozen games has been superb.

Bowerman in front of Lawrie, give me strength !!!!

Didnt include him in my thinking to be honest. Realistically he was never going stay. James Lawrie produces moments of magic every 7-10 games, but he is lightweight, loses the ball too often and is appalling at delivering set peices. I gave up with him a long time ago. Braintree's first goal last week sums up James Lawrie for me.

Don't think any of us thought of Bowerman after half a dozen games.
With Lawrie, still can't make my mind up.
He does give the ball away.
Not in the same league as Graham Heathcote, but he gave the ball away.
In my opinion he was always one step ahead of the rest of the team.
Always thought Lawrie was a player who could change a game.
Didn't do it this season, but most of the time he played on the wing.
We will have to see what the new manager thinks.
As of yet, we still only have four players signed up.

I think lawrie is good when played behind a front one.

Not been offered a contract, but that is his best position

Lots of the right noises being made and reassuringly a familiarity with the current squad. Finally a manager who knows the local scene and has no ties to the club before. Should've been six weeks ago.

I thought we have drawn a line under that.
Move on!!

Bryan,

I know that it would be extremely convenient for certain individuals if the club were suddenly to declare a Year Zero like Cambodia in 1975 but people are actually entitled to comment on the events of the 2015/16 season.

Barry,
I was replying to what SW had posted on 1st May.
Can't  do this cut and paste thing.

Maybes are maybes, now thankfully action has been taken.
New start ' LETS MOVE ON AND UP'.
Welcome Neil.

You are correct Barry that everybody is entitled to their opinion.
But we have got to move on soon.
If this carries on, it will be going on longer than 'The War Of The Seventh Coalition'!!!

Whilst I dont always agree with Cult, he usually offers intelligent debate and isnt always negative.
However there are some people who are tiresomely predictable and rarely offer anything but negativity and/or personal abuse or attacks on genuine people who care greatly for this club, often spending many hours of their own time and effort without reward to help the club in many ways,.... these people do not deserve this criticism and whilst I dislike getting embroiled, there are times when, on an open forum, I feel they need defending by the genuine fans.

John Edwards can see that, so can I. Can you VofD or are you one of the "usual suspects" ?

Spot on Pukka👍

Any of those not happy or dubious about the appointment point to who else we could have got?  I suspect Burr only wants conf national football.  NY seems to be exactly what we wanted, experience, local good knowledge, I expect it to take 3 years to get up but for us to have a go straight away

Don't get me wrong.
You say Burr.
What NL team would he want, or take him on?

i think the jury had no option but to find the fans blameless, they had to answer the question,do you think the fans were to blame,so they had to answer No because the 96 that died were blameless, there should have been a question do you think that the fans that turned up without tickets contributed to the problems,in which case i think the answer would have been yes

Harold,
I hope that was a tongue in cheek comment!!!!

I did actually book this last Saturday at the Welling game; but I would just like to thank Graham and the club for covering our costs for the supporters coach next week. It was my intention when I booked to pay for the coach but what a lovely surprise when I found out the club were covering the costs.

I am very grateful to them, I spoke to colleagues at work about this and they thought it was a great gesture.

May I also suggest that if the coach fills up and there is the demand for a second coach, I would be happy to pay towards the costs of it meant there were twice as many fans going.

Thanks to Graham and the club, great gesture!!

I will second that👍.
Does everybody know the coach times have changed.
