Highlight of 2011

It's a toss up between the late away winner at Darlington or the complete and utter smashing of Colwyn Bay (including that audacious Nicky Clee lob)

Not exactly a vintage year then, eh?

Highlight: Craig Dootson & Marc Joseph leaving Moss Lane in the Summer.

Nadir: the dreadful news about Mark Maddox's health.

Not sure there were many highlights, a few false dawns yes ie Darlington, Grimsby, but all to no avail. as regards the worst season comment, for disappointment 2010-11 has to be high up there.

Lowlights, well Eastbourne home and away, plus as Cult states, the news about Maddog.

Bring on 2012. Happy New Year to all.

As Cult says the whole of 2011 pales into insignificance with the news about MadDog.

In fact, you can keep all of it football wise. One of my least enjoyable years as an Alty fan in living memory.

And 2012 can go and stuff itself from what I've endured of it so far too!!

Ballers.......I feel there is evidence here that you are experiencing the early effects of being 'on the change'.

If you are experiencing any hot flushes or similar symptoms, then I think that you can look forward to joining our growing number of 'grumpy middle aged/old Alty fans at some point in 2012 :D

Welcome to the club!
