He has now tied John Davisons record for number of STARTS for Alty.  JD is 672+7 subs, Stu is now 672+2.

Stu is so good, other clubs have started cloning him. Did anyone else notice the similarity between Stu  and the Aldershot keeper yesterday?

Cult had JD down at 672 + 6 (rather than 672 + 7) when he posted about this a while back, meanwhile the Legends section of the official site has him at 671 + 6.

Would be good to establish the definitive figure soonish...

The statisticians (Cult, Terry Rowley, myself & I think Terry Surridge) got together a while ago & agreed 672 + 6 as the definitive figure for JD. All other figures should be disregarded.

I can only endorse roytonmike's statement that the definitive total number of appearances for Alty that John Davison amassed was 672 (+6 as sub).

There's a calculation error in the profile of John Davison on the Legends section of the Alty website, in that his tally of Cheshire Senior Cup appearances is listed as being 28 but if you actually add up that column of figures it amounts to 29.

The Mark maddox Community Sports Hall.

Or The Mad Dog for short (and we can get one of those old pub signs for match days)

Stuart should be awarded the freedom of Altrincham, which I believe gives him the right to drive sheep through Tesco car park.

Just watched the save on Alty TV - an excellent strong wrist to keep that ball away.
