Alty 1  York 1

Att :1404 (590 from York)

Good performance and we could have won it as well.  York below par and get a lot of moaning from there fans who believe they "really should be beating teams like this"

Lots of moaning from Alty fans who think that a draw is no good, despite previous results against York.

A draw would be magnificent. York have beaten all the teams near the bottom. Alas, I think they will do us 2-0.

Alty 1 - 3 York

Att: 1503

We actually play really well (far better than in the Trophy game) and take an early lead whilst playing some confident football. Despite giving our all and matching York for long periods they are totally clinical in front of goal. We are not disgraced and we'll have many positives to take from the game.

We are either the worst fans in the history of football at predicting results ......... or the most loyal !!!!!

Too many nightmares of games gone by against York have scarred me I'm afraid.

Alty 1 (Cahill) York 3
att: 1213

Similar to last time - stay in the game until late in the second half and get hit by a couple of late goals.

With the loan signings having had a bit more time to gel, I reckon a draw would be a good result, perhaps 2-2, with Cahill and Senior both notching.

What's the point in predicting?,we all know its totally pointless!,for the record though we (York obviously) haven't lost away since September 18th,and have won our last 7 away games. So you will probably cause an upset and win.Back to reality, providing our injury worries have cleared up City should win.I'll go for 3-1.

York are quite good I think.

They must be good if they can score two thirds of a goal....

::) shakes head at Phil and thinks surely this time we must score.

You scored once in the cup and twice at our place in the league, that's more than enough for one season Mark.

York are going for the play-offs and we really should be beating teams like these, we are too big a club for this division, shouldn't even be in it and going to these places is beneath us. Shall I include any more stereotypical phrases or shall I leave some for Cambridge United?

That could well be the most likely outcome. But Jennifer's Mum is away all day so it will ruin my day if we don't play - I might have to do housework or something!

After I predicted a draw at Oxford I'm not going to predict a score

At 4pm there were no visible puddles on the pitch although there was some water around the perimeter.

The key is no rain friday night, so the pitch will be passed playable.

Team will be

Coburn
Shotton (RB)
Tinno
Young
JJ

Toulson
Lawton
King
Peyton

Cahill
Little.

1298 there, why is it always piss poor weather when York come? And unfortunately I think they'll do a job on us again. Unlike a load of the sh*te that's beaten us at home this year I think they're actually a good outfit, move the ball very quickly and finish emphatically, especially when they get ahead.

Hmm, 1-3 goal from Little.

p.s. Anyone know when Val is back?
