I think that throw away comments made in the heat of the moment by sports players can be misinterpreted by eager sports fans, eg. the cricket examples we have had recently.

I think its great to remember that as a human being one has the tendancy to exaggerate and spill out thoughts before properly assessing the reaction they will get.

Whilst they may be the wrong thing to say in hindsight, and therefore referred to as 'throwaway' I think you'll find on the whole they are the true feelings of people.

I dont disagree however I dont go around at work telling people my heartfelt feelings, that would be madness, my point is that its too easy to spill to the whole world and its not retractable
