Possibility of moving Shotton into midfield he has ability to boss the middle of the park and can tackle to break up the opposition play.

Probably to start with pal, can only help though to have some experienced cover in this area and if/when he gets a chance he needs to take it. This is what we need, people coming in and making the shirt their own, competition for places etc etc.

Yeah I agree, it's healthy and will push players to fight and hopefully play better for their place in the team.

Shotton played up front briefly on New Years Day and we are short of strikers and height up front. Also he scored one and made one at Vics.

You have to play your best players in their best positions. Especially when you are away to a strong team, putting a central defender up front isn't my idea of tactics.

I think there is a rule that states you can only play 5 loan players in the starting 11

We only have five loan players,so no danger of breaking that rule. Greg Young is a permanent signing after his Halifax contract was cancelled.
