I see the campaign for a statue of Frank Sidebottom in Timperley Village is well on the way now to reaching its target and requesting planning permission off the council.

I hope they get the remaining cash and get the statue up, not everyone's cup of tea but I was always a fan and he helped our (and of course his own) media profile a lot back in the day.

Great news I went to see the fall at the frankfest and if a genius but bad temperamental mark e smith was happy to do a charity gig it showed he was well respected I will add the fall were on top form

Speaking of Statues, when is the club going to do the decent thing and erect a statue of Stuart Coburn outside Moss Lane?

I'm talking full fist pump action going on....



I reckon if we spend the £75k money from our FA cup run to get it forged, then it will be ready by the time he becomes number one on the all-time appearance list.
