Does anyone think we should look into the idea of putting a couple of skips outside the ground for fans to bring any scrap metal they have, to the games and the club could sell it to J Davidsons for some extra cash?
I seem to remember in the early 90s, Halifax Town did this and it helped fund a player or two.

We should put a bit of lead in Twissys pockets and weigh him in. We would get enough for a reserve team.    ;) :D

it does seem a fair point but , how long the pikeys and other treasure hunters come along and start pilfering the metal , even if its tied down these days it gets removed

Why? They're a scrap dealer, that's what they do. Sponsoring us makes no difference, they need metal.
