Altrincham FC First Team / Arrangments for Northwhich?
« on: February 13, 2007, 08:53:07 PM »
I was going to drive to Crawley but i broke my toe on Sunday so cant make it now; so my mind has drifted to Northwich away on Tuesday

Is every one going down on the train from Hale as we normally do?? (or by barge if you are Hugh of course). Then onto a few pubs in town then asked to be removed from weatherspoons after drinking large amounts of beer and becoming rowdy??

Im personally meeting a few mates (and former bretherin) at the Cheshire midland at 1230 so should be a good day .... what you all doing? ???

Dear christ i'm getting sick of this bickering and bollocks on this forum, the past few days have been some of the most pointless sh*te i have ever read in the history of all that is the world. so to clarify, like i know many of my fellow experienced posters i will now be avoiding the site till halfterm is over and hope that when i get back we are looking like a sensible forum wher humans talk to humans about the club they love in a sensible and constructive way we get back to the usual talk of next weeks lineup, ideas for raising money/profile for the club, and the less moronic statements like "is heathcote up for the job" a man with more knowledge of non league football in his little finger than some of the managers (jim smith, davenport to name a few) will have during their tenures as conference managers.

I don't enter into the whole Peaking and Goodwining it does not affect me so go right ahead and do your worse coz i am one majorly pissed off poster right now

lots of love

look on the bright side im going to piss in a green and white pot next week and its going to overflow. come on Alty

Now obviously it is easy for me to say sat in my office 1000 miles away but im going to say it anyway and i suspect it will be ignored as are most of my comments.

This time 2 years ago we had no chance of seeing the conference and its overpriced grounds with anti part-time snobbery! We cant raise the bar that quickly to a point where we're not going to get trounced now and again by York and the like. We're doing well, the players work tirelessly but they are tired and dropping Azzer will do more harm than good. Another burst of points similar to xmas and we're clear of the quagmire, i really think people are forgetting how far we've come in the last two years with this squad and off-pitch team.

The players have performed miracles and azzer deserves more respect than calls for him to be dropped cos of a bad performance here or there. When ive seen him this season ive thought he provides good defensive shape a the back which is important against full-timers. The lads need a lift now, i dont think new faces will do the trick, a good win at crawley will move things forward. We should be proud just to be here, Alty are a credit to the league even if they dont get acknowledged for it. Of course we'll struggle but that really is unavoidable.

Unless of course we go full-time and bring in some mercenaries to fight for their wages? Any takers?

I miss you beaver you big teaser  ;D

I hope no one on here is giving up on Alty staying up because if us fans (who love this club) are ready to chuck the towel in then what message does that give to the players ? If the fans can't be bothered to stay positive why should the players is what I think ?

I for one am not giving up untils its mathematicaly impossible to stay up. I have to believe we can stay up and I am going to stay positive for as long as possible.

everyone is entitled to an opinion and thats what the forum (and being a fan) is about so please don't think this is about having petty digs at people on here.

Its just my opinion that slagging off the current players (which we are going to have until the end of the season for obvious reasons) is not helping anyone. Encouragement is what is required at this stage of the season.

I was not happy with Saturday but I put into persepctive that losing a goal within a minute is a freak occurance and there is nothing you can do about it, and it was offisde from where I was stood next to the corner flag. York are a good side and I have to agree with the Ex-Gk who says that its still no points whether its 1-0 or 10-0 (though yes that would be worrying).

well said Gary spot on ! Come on Alty

I'd do it myself but all 14 copies of the DVD were bought by the infamous Thorley brothers and i'm too scared to ask one of them myself for a borrow. They're a bit shifty!

We all think we could do better in choosing the right squad for the currant managment team? How much would you be prepared to pay for the privledge?
1.Spend the day with the team
2. Have a say in picking the team
3.Cup of tea at half time

If i can pick myself im in  ;D

I think it'll be more like this:

Woking 1-4 Alty (3)
Southport 1-4 Alty (3)
Northwich 1-4 Alty (3)
Crawley 1-4 Alty (3)

12 points!!  ;D
I like this positive attitude daisy maybe you could hook up with VofD and cheer him up ;D
