Lowest 13th
« on: November 14, 2009, 11:18:32 PM »

I have said in a post today that I thought todays performance was not good enough.

However IF I said to you at the start of the season the lowest position we would have been in by 14th November 2009 was 13th would you think I was mad???

Just something to consider.

Good night peeps :-)

We have only won 2 homes games all season.
We have played 3 of the bottom 4 sides at home and  not beaten any of them.
Without a few more wins we will soon be in the relegation mire - Pity as a win yesterday would have taken us 15 points clear of the bottom 4

As I have posted on a thread before, the team do better away from home as there is less barracking  and panic induced encouragement from the sidelines as is the case at Moss lane. Away support always seems positive whereas at home there are too many moan and groaners. Granted everyone pays their money so is entitled to vent their frustration. Also, it seems to be bypassed that the majority of sides are FULL TIME and don't have to put in a 39 hour week as well as then travelling to training etc.

How many part time sides sit currently above us?

I agree, too much negative energy at home sometimes.

I thought people were too quick to get on Clee's back. Owens was getting complaints after 10 minutes!

Good on Col for telling a few negative muppets to shut the f**k up second half. We need to get behind the lads.

What Colin Little was having a go at in the second half was the lack of noise
coming from the terraces & I have to say it was very quiet at times but I do
hope that the players don't start having a go at the fans because they also
have to generate the level of support volume. The players of Alty enjoy
some of the best support both home & away in this league wherever they
play which for a small town part time club is a credit to them.I suppose on
certain days that fans may feel that no amounts of noise will lift the team.
