Not too sure about your last statement, as I have it on very good authority that Jacqui Forster is a fine overlapping left full back with a Clive Freemanesque shot.

Cheers Gary Talbot, have some fantastic memories of watching you in an Alty shirt. Captivated the recent atmosphere at the club and an Alty legend forever more!

Good luck!

Indeed..all the best steakhead...a great prospect for a BNP club who wants to take a chance on a young centre half with loads of promise and potential.

Some very happy memories of this committed no nonsense player.

I realise that they will always be remembered as a partnership but who do you think made more of a name for himself at alty, Maddog or Talbs. Who do you think will be remembered more?

They both made similar contributions and were both equally committed to Alty...interestingly both went off for a while but returned to their spiritual home.

They were an awesome partnership in their heyday...like a couple of skinheads in a dark alley I'm sure they frightened opposition forwards to death.

Mad-Dog was a a bigger character than talbs so will probably be remembered more for that..but I think both will go down as legends...come on Mr Laidlar...add the name of Gary Talbot to the hall of legends as a fitting tribute ......alongside Mad-Dog's of course.
