In a cruel twist of fate, he's cup-tied for the Cheshire Senior Cup Final:

Well we replaced him with Hacksaw Jim Duggan, so on balance we probably could have kept him and been no worse off.

I quite liked Andrew Dawber. I accept that he is a young lad and made some mistakes, I am convinced that he will go on to make a good keeper and could have been an asset had we retained him.  He wasn't well protected during his time in goal for us, which maginified any errors he made.

We have not kept many clean sheets without him.

We should get him and our newly acquired WWF John Cena lookalike and form a tag team. The will surely have more success than the current football team that trades under the name of Altrincham FC.....

He was a poor keeper. Wasn't a bad shot stopper but he couldn't deal with crosses if his life depended on it!!

Yes, I'm not sure we had time for him to get attuned to doing so and improving that aspect of his game. I'm not sure any serious team would actually.

It's a difficult one, I remember Ben Williams being underwhelming whilst on loan here and he's had a pretty successful subsequent career. As has been said before on here the non contact no high cross academy football he seemed to be used to was no prep for our level and unfortunately it showed. We also had a back four which couldn't protect him.
