Sad news regarding the death of a genuine Alty legend, who was a key member of our Alliance Premier League title-winning teams in the 1979/80 and 1980/81 seasons respectively:

Yes, he was one of the major players in our most successful ever team, performing several great saves late in games if I recall correctly.
