The locals are a little ambivalent about this down here (after an unscientific small poll in the local). Personally, I think he'll do well for them. At least he's got himself out of m*cc 😉

As much as I always expected him to return to Chester one day... this one seems really strange.

Had he not been playing for Macc or something? - surely he was under contract, have they just let him go by mutual consent?

My thought would be he was a casualty of m*cc signing Danny Rowe who must be on quite a wedge.

I'd be amazed if a washed up Danny Rowe gets more goals than Tom Peers would have done at that level - ah well, their loss is Chester's gain I suppose.
