I hate to say it but I think we may just get nudged out tomorrow. I sincerely hope I'm wrong but I'm going  for a 1-0 defeat.

Let's extend the unbeaten run to 7 games. I'll go for a 1-0 victory. Remember not one club has taken 6 points from us this season. We can do this.

I've already gone Mansfield 2 Alty 0 on the TASC prediction competition so I'll have to stick with that !

Although I'd gladly accept getting the overall result wrong for a point or three ?

From Mr Laidlar's inspirational site:
For the match at Mansfield Town tonight, the referee is Mr A. Halliday who oversaw the Alty v Mansfield home match earlier this season, during which he sent off both Chris Senior and Matt Doughty.

Bit strange isnt having the same ref for both games isnt it? Hopefully he will have a better game...

ps mansfield 1 - 1 alty. mansfield have a bizzare late sending off.

In line with my TASC prediction, a 2-1 defeat (but I've not had a 3 pointer yet so t'formbook says I'm likely to be wrong).

I'd LOVE it, just LOVE it, if we turned that lot over !

I don't normally do predictions but I went to the game last night with a mate whose only previous experiences of Alty were:-

February 2006  Altrincham 1 Halifax Town 2.....James Robinson's last appearance in an Alty shirt & Halifax nicked it with a goal two minutes from time.
January 2007   Tamworth 2 Altrincham 1.....FA Trophy replay where we were a goal up with a couple of minutes left!

Based on that I emailed him on Monday with the following prediction:-

Mansfield Town 2 Altrincham 1

Kyle Perry 88       Greg Young 61
Rob Duffy 90+4

So my cup is definitely half full this morning......great point & performance!
