Just out of pure curiosity - interested to get an idea of where people are off to next Saturday?

Please add an option comprising 'creosoting the fence'.

I'm afraid I've skewed the voting, as I intended to do both games, but now accept that my dodgy back won't take it. I'll check what I'm like Saturday lunchtime, and may go to Ashton if I can pay at the gate.

Phil,

If you find yourself at a loose end, I hear that creosoting a fence has been proved to be conducive treatment for back pain....

I've already convinced Mrs S that the opposite is true 😉

I'm allergic to creosote, and anything resembling manual labour. I could sit in a comfortable chair with a beer or three and supervise if required.

Not going to either but will be following with great interest.

I know psf are much needed, but not convinced it has much bearing on the season

From Twitter:

Today’s first half XI at @WD_CFC:

Gould; Trialist, Digie, Sutton (c), Trialist; Kirby, Trialist; Jackson, Trialist, Trialist; Dinanga

Bench is made up of trialists and Academy players.

An inauspicious start to the season, as we lose 1-0 at West Didsbury and Chorlton. The only goal an OG by new signing Kennedy Digie. To make matters worse, Matt Gould off with what looked a bad hip injury according to RR. If anything happens to TT we're up Manure Creek sans paddle.

I'm sure I'm not alone to be concerned that Dinanga "had few opportunities in the box" although he apparently "linked play well".

I expected him and Brad Jackson to be at Ashton - maybe we've got a top class trialist striker....
