2-0 to Burton at half time, then Sinnott brings on Heathcote for the second half and he scores 5. After each goal, he celebrates by dropping his pants and singing 'oh danny boy' in the centre of the pitch.

(Burton 0 - 1 Altrincham (Reeves))

3-1 loss. Lawrie 65

Att: 1,997

Is it pay on gate as the Burton website suggests "tickets" are required...

Rumours abound that if our club captain John McGrath gets through a reserve game today he may feature on Sunday. He suffered a torn foot ligament and has been out since about January. He will have to go some this season to displace Jamie Weir or Lee Bell.

Some fringe players may get a look in like Andy Corbett, Chris Palmer, Justin Richards and Jack Dyer. I would play Billy Kee as well, he looked miles from match sharpness against Bradford and is still building himself up after a long period out.

problem being their fringe players are probably twice as good as ours anyway. But the closer this gets to Sunday the more confident i am getting about a draw at least.
