I don't think Ollie is a bad keeper; but any other player would get respite. Dinanga, Osborne, Hulme, Linney if mistakes are made.
Time for Phil to perform a duty of care; bring in a 2nd GK and give Ollie the support he needs. Coming from Welsh Champions behind a top-quality defence, he's being challenged for the first time in his adult career.
100% behind this sensible post. My mind is cast back to Joe Corrigan in the early 1970s at City. The boo boys were rewarded with the signing of Keith MacRae from Motherwell in 1973/74 who immediately took Joe's place in the first team. MacRae cost City £100,000 which was a tidy sum at the time.
Suffice to say that Joe had been retained and developed behind the scenes and it was he, not MacRae, following his return to the first team, who went on to become a City legend.
When I watched it I thought it felt like a day 1 of training vid. The historic intro, the recent successes, some of the more open goals we conceded then goals that had huge phases of possession leading up to the goals. I could almost hear Parky praising the composure passing back to the defence then building forward again, all while holding on to the ball. Oh and CCC's dribble to show we have a magician for the new boys to take note of.Yes, it seems to have gone. Glad I managed to catch it.
Was this meant for internal use only? The way it was labelled "v2" was a bit odd too.
The way to see all of next year's version is to go to every game.
Come on Alty.
Shame we took it down, If anything there should be a v3 with the manager commentating some of the less confidential points over it.
Yes, it seems to have gone. Glad I managed to catch it.
I can explain that very easily.
You see that if you take into consideration the effects of quantum tunnelling underneath the Golf Road and the consequences of Hawking radiation around the edge of the centre circle and combine that with the movement of CCC relative to the speed of light you will see that we're going to win the league.
Dorking, Oxford and Maidstone for me. Plus one.
Maidstone went last year mate! 😉
Think you must mean Maidenhead?
