I think if there are less than 15 minutes left to play, the result stands.

Has this been confirmed? I was also under the impression that if it was past a certain minute the result stood.

it's going to the FA for a decision.....frank Sinclair's unhelpful attitude and obvious wish to get a replay may count against him...we can hope.....although really you can't have an alty fan or official run the line....but I think alty should have offered frank the chance to run the line in the half alty were attacking.....

I thought the referee was the final arbitor? If this is the case and the referee was satisfied that Ian Senior could run the line FS's objection to accept this arrangement is a de facto refusal to continue, irrespective as to what he actually said. So, logically, the game should've been awarded to us by the referee today, with Colwyn Bay having the option to appeal the decision. That said, not to have arrangements for a substitute official at a senior football game is p1ss poor.

The key here is whether the referee abandoned the match. If he did it's a replay. If the match couldn't continue because Frank didn't want Ian Senior on the line despite the ref being ok with it, it's a forfeiture in our favour.

For me, Frank Sinclair has refused to continue despite the referee being happy to do so and the game should be awarded to us as a result. The bloke is an utter cock!

interestingly I think if we had offered frank the chance o run the line in the half alty were attacking and the ref was happy with that, then his refusal would have been classed as forfeiting the game....?

Put simply there are not enough officials of an appropriate level to permit fourth officials to be appointed at this stage of the FA Trophy.

I won't go into why (net loss of officials to the game due to abuse etc) as this is not the correct time or place
