I think McGivern has been a real let down for us.
Do we keep him for next season, surely the money would be better spent on someone else.

Coburn - outstanding
Lynch - tried hard, but no right back
Smart - looked solid
Flynn - excellent
Broomes - steady, but slow
Phelan - very promising
Densmore - never stops running
Lawrie - afraid he had an off day today
Clee - scared their rb to death
Twiss - tried hard, but sadly ineffective
Reeves - took his one chance well
Watmore - bloody quick

All in all a decent display today and did the club proud

Not a bad synopsis, but Phelan has to stop grabbing at opposition players. His booking today was for about the fifth such offence. Also, I actually thought Lawrie wasn't bad today, and at least he went in for some of the challenges he's been guilty of ducking out of recently.

I really enjoyed the todays match.  I thought both sides played well and each created host of chances.
If it was your first game or you were a neutral you would definately come back for more. The attendance was disappointing though, I think it was less than last week and I was certainly expecting more.

The fact that the £5 Football League season ticket holders' offer wasn't on today surely contributes to the let down in attendance in the home end

Surely the lower home attendance is due to the fact that today was a dead rubber for us after a disappointing season. At 2.59pm last week we at least had a chance of making the playoffs.

It was two cautions, both for dissent.

Any caution for dissent is really inexcusable so to get two so close together is farcical.

I hope he is fined the maximum possible

Was the 2nd one really for dissent? The referee was miles away when he decided to book him. I'm sure it was for encroachment.

He got a second yellow for swearing at the (wank) ref.

If the Ref flashed a yellow card I didnt see it. Anyway, foul and abusive language to an official is a straight red.
The Ref was poor. I thought their penalty award was harsh but to be fair to the Ref on this incident it didnt help as Twiss had his hands raised around their player - which is irresponsible. We had an identical situation in their box shortly afterwards which he didnt give. I thought there was a pushing offence for their equaliser and I was level with play.

Sadly yesterday's ref was another straight from the Ross Joyce school of new refs. What sort of T**t tells the players before a game that you don't speak to me, if you've a problem go to your captain. That gets people's backs up straight away, no common sense or communication skills
