I've just seen the Ponting shares/game against United mentioned on BBC Northwest News and then there was an interview with Geoff Goodwin on Sky Sports News.

This is really excellent exposure for the club, a big well done to all concerned.

Geoff seemed hopeful one or two well-known players might make an appearance. He also said Sir Alex was coming down - I don't know whether he'll be taking the team or whether he'll just be watching as Solskjaer is in control. Either way, it's all good stuff and I'm hopeful of a decent crowd.
