Title: there not goin down...and neither are we
Post by: Jacko on August 12, 2008, 10:49:44 PM
Think we showed we've got enough firepower to stay up,and i think they'll beat better teams than us this year so lets just be thankfull we can score when we need to,
defence is pretty new so can only get better i feel

I reckon Oxford and Stevenage will pull away and finish mid table a bit like York did last season. In my opinion amongst the sides fighting at the bottom will be Alty,Kettering,Lewes,Woking and Eastbourne with a couple of others, possibly Histon with second season syndrome.

You can't say Oxford and Stevenage are relegation contenders after a couple of dodgy results!

well at least we are in a better position than this time last year pointwise!  Think we need a dominant centre half who is vocal.  Get that sorted and I think we could be good for mid table. Its not time to be worrying yet.  They were as bad as us at the back, just that we were bad more often.

Dont panic folks, we are good,we just carried away coming back from behind and tried for the winner, it was a freak result.

Barrow and Salisbury have to be in that list. Based on last nights performance Barrow will stay up comfortably but you still have to put them in the mix. They won't be able to keep that up for the whole season and people thought Farsley would stay up after a string of good results last year, but look where they finished!

We're in the conference so they could easily get relagated.

I'm sure bigger clubs have had bad seasons and been relagated
