Good old Radio Alty. More than happy to tune in. Does this mean the name Radio Robins will soon disappear?

Good question.

It will still be Radio Robins, we are just changing the media player from Mixlr to Radio Alty.

We will refer to the service as Radio Robins on Radio Alty.

As long as Ashley Mowers are making the transition with RR. It wouldn’t be the same……

It's possibly no help to you, but it does exist on the Apple App Store.

On the website, under the fixtures tab in the menu (three lines in the top left corner on my phone), there is a link to radio Alty. When I went on that I had to scroll to the bottom of the page and hit the 'listen live' button. I got One Direction when I tried it, but I'm hoping that it will be Radio Robins when the time comes...

Not sure if that is the way it is supposed to work, but it seemed to do the job on my Android phone.

Not much to say about the first half. 0 0, but possession for Alty.

A totally different team due to play the second period.

Good win today. Went to the match. My standout player in the 1st half was Isaac Marriott, and number 11 trialist. In the 2nd half all the team did well but the number 18 on the right wing, and everywhere else was class. Just a small guy with a beard, who kept pulling the leg of his shorts up. Very good footwork and caused Trafford a lot of problems, helped in defence too. All over the place, and made some mazy runs, exciting possibility and if Phil takes a punt, potentially a fans favourite. Try in more friendlies.

First half trialing was Callum gribbin. Recently seen at Radcliffe. Info not  from club website so may not be accurate, but is from Altyfiles site so is almost certainly is!

It was certainly the best performance seen so far this season, and I have been to all the friendlies so far, although as it turns out I am not going to any more!

I wasn't quite so struck on Callum Gribbin, but was very impressed by the second half 18. As JL has named the team anyway, I have  compared the players' names to faces, and that looks like Harry Bunn (son of Frankie), whose last club was SC**thorpe United. Definitely try him again. I may be wrong, of course.

Cross referencing names and photos, 18 looked very much like Alex Samizadeh. I believe that he ran the show for Curzon in their 2-0 win at Moss Lane in the 18/19 season.

Good spot. Yep, that works for me. Was this access announced anywhere and I missed it?

He was mustard. Good on the ball, great control and he had a trick or two. Similar in stature to Mooney as well. I also liked 24, he broke through the lines and was also good on the ball. Certainly worth looking at some of them further.

Looks quality on his YouTube clips. Maybe one Parky can develop. Really skilful and direct.

One should read Samidzeh's Wikipedia entry. His off the field profile is more than a little iffy.

Funnily enough, I was just reading that a few minutes ago. Meanwhile, here's a recent piece about him from the Bolton Evening News. I don't quite understand how he could face a trial without being charged as it states....

We've had iffy before. The Italian stuff would mean a lot more lost training and match days on travel alone.

Will the joint venture with Radio Alty lead to an improvement of the some of the more ropey aspects of the broadcast quality? Sorry if asking the question upsets anyone but some of the matches last season were almost impossible to listen to.

I think Radio Robins should set themselves up on Patreon, where frequent listeners can become backers for a small monthly fee (I'm only talking £1, 2, or 5 pounds per month) effectively throwing a few quid in a bucket to tip the service.

Money generated can then be used on improving the infrastructure.

Now that is a very worthy cause! I don't know what patreon is, does anybody know what % cut they take?
