Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Chester Match Thred

To be fair to him cant have been great playing in a team so low on confidence. The only real error which stands out for me was the one he let through his legs v Gateshead. Overall thought he was a decent keeper.

Certainly not fishing, though i appreciate it may look that way if you weren't aware of what happened after the Chester and Southport home games last season. Also this group of lads haven't caused any issues inside the ground from what i've seen, its been outside the ground.  Hopefully though i'm wrong about them causing any further issues this season.

Altrincham FC First Team / Possible Cause for Concern?
« on: July 17, 2016, 09:49:26 PM »
Wonder if anyone else noticed that the group of scrotes who appeared at home games during the 2nd half of last season, were back again yesterday?
These were allegedly, amongst the Alty fans who clashed with some Chester fans outside the ground after the match last season.  They were allegedly also amongst the group of about 25 lads who were hanging around outside the ground after the Southport match last Easter Monday. They were hoping to kick off with the Southport fans though fortunately nothing seemed to happen in the end.
Not sure how aware the club are but for the first time i can remember the club have got a group of fans who potentially are looking for trouble at certain games. Certainly with games against teams with decent away support, you wonder how things will pan out this season in terms of the behaviour with this group of lads.

True there will be a much lower crowd and less idiots on both sides, but when a friendly will probably require segregation you think the club would maybe choose a different opponent

Going back to the Chester friendly being announced, does anyone else find the choice of Chester a little strange in the light of the post match trouble along Moss Lane towards the town centre, after the recent league game?
