One photo can be misleading but... it doesn!t look good. It looks like an over reaction.  A video of thebui know d up to the incident would be needed.

Anyone working in football stewarding wether in house or by an agency should either have or working towards the NVQ 2 in Spectator safety.
As someone who holds a door supervisors badge you are only allowed to use minimum force that they train you in the Conflict management module
a hold round the neck is illegal.
On big games at our place we have SIA licence holders but you don't see react like that.

The photo shows a Grimsby fan in a headlock. I would say this is a totally unnecessary move. Then you have the story he was just playing with an inflatable ball for gods sake!

Don't be surprised,  its the Fools on the hill showing what a sh*tty little club they are. No comment by the club !!!!! Spineless tossers.

Stewards over reaction by the looks of it.  Not good
