Red & Yellow Cards
« on: March 29, 2010, 09:38:04 AM »

Am I correct in assuming that after 31 March  all yellow cards that players have accumulated over the the season are expunged. so the chances of us getting any suspensions are gone unless we incurr any red cards ??

I don't think they're expunged, I think rather than 5 yellows meaning a ban, it goes to 10 ... so in practice it's the same thing.

I could be VERY mistaken about this but I'm sure;
  a)  Some kind person will tell me whether I am correct, and
  b)  Some intelligent Alty fan will know the answer!

I think you are correct........but I am not sure and don't have the time to look it up......I think the answer is on the FA Website under Disciplinary Procedures

Was this his first game back after suspension?

Wouldn't be surprised if he's suspended for the rest of the season now.

Seeing we're in his good books right now, Colin Peake is BOUND to know......

FA site for Conf 09/10 season :-

5 bookings before 31 Dec 09 = 1 match ban
5 bookings before end of season = warning as to future conduct

10 bookings before 2nd Sunday in April = 2 match ban
10 bookings before end of season = severley censured and warned

15 booking before end of season = 3 match ban
20 bookings = come down and see us at the FA !

Let's hope Chris Denham keeps out of trouble in the next three games then.
