Is anybody else suddenly flashing back to a bit of Blackadder here?
Be 3 points off a playoff spot tonight wont matter anyway apprantly reforming as Northwich Villa at the end of the season another amazing plan by JR
Northwich Villa?? That's just not right.
Two power cuts here in Timperley. Only lasted a few minutes but now i have to work out how to reset my alarm clock.
That's the beauty (or one of them) of retirement. You don't need one of those
It was mentioned last night and we are trying but I think York have to arrange Grays away as well, so they are more likely to go there on a Saturday.

Thats a great wee story. It is brilliant that - as I've always said, Alty is more than a football club. It is a family with ever open doors to new friends (as long as they pay!)[/b]
This has come accross when we've been in the media, for instance when Mark Pougatch was at the fround for the Milwall FA Cup match and commented about GH bringing him a cup o' tea
I think while this thread may make a valid point the way it is writtenin places is very unfair on a player who plays his heart out for us and who is an important member of a pretty thin squad....it's also a sign of how far we've come when a player like Robbie slips down the pecking order.
A lot of players read this forum and some comments will do nothing for the guys confidence if Robbie is a forum reader will it? Although many have been fair and posted about Robbie's attitude and effort words like clueless don't help anyone.
I think Robbie is an excellent squad player who has been played out of position and has lost his form....what he probably needs is a boost and then he may perform to everyone's requirements.
How many players have lost their form and then come back to prove everyone wrong? I reckon Robbie's time may come again.....unfortunatly at Alty while we may get better players in from time to time, those better players may not be those we willl be able to rely on staying for next season and we will always rely on the likes of Robbie.
Wether Robbie is picked week in week out is the manager's choice so question him not the player's ability eh? we don't see what the cote sees on the training pitch do we? and very often we find out later that so and so had an injury or their attitude wasn't right.
Robbie is a perfectly adequate BSP player who gives 100%, just because we have 'better' players does not suddenly make him BSN quality.
