Lee Sinnott appointed Altrincham manager
Sinnott last managerial post was at Bradford Park Avenue in October 2009
Altrincham have appointed Lee Sinnott as manager after their relegation from Blue Square Bet Premier.
Sinnott started his managerial career with Farsley Celtic in 2003, winning three promotions in four seasons.
He took over at Port Vale for 10 months in November 2007 and was last involved in management at Bradford Park Avenue.
Chairman Grahame Rowley said: "Lee has the rare combination of being an experienced manager who knows what is needed to gain promotion."
Sinnott replaces Ken McKenna, who stepped down at the start of May, after the club was relegated from the Blue Square Bet Premier for the first time since 2005.
The former defender made over 600 first team appearances for Walsall, Watford, Bradford City, Crystal Palace, Huddersfield Town, Oldham Athletic and Scarborough during his playing career.
