Title: PART-TIME AND NEVER MORE PROUD OF IT
Post by: Dougals Dad on December 09, 2007, 11:31:34 PM
This is a "Must Read" on John Laidlar's site. Especially the bit about Chester.

Any pre conceived ideas of Stephen Vaughan being a crook are......probably true...

allegedly!

I am proud, but whatworries me is that all these clubs will have the debts greatly reduced and there is no real penalty, look at vics!

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  Any club entering administration should be relegated to the division below the one they are due to start in the following season.  That would prevent any promotion, and prevent any relegated team writing off the 10 point punishment when they are already down.

However bad some clubs are run, the authorities are equally to blame for having a system which encourages the debt to be built up in the first place.

Absolutely bang on bob!

The fa is an absolute joke. Allowing this kind of financial mess as well as the england set up and not to mention the lack of imput in our recent problems with robinson etc just go to show how crap they are. You can hardly blame clubs when its so easy to get away with now, its like a safety net not a punishment
