Ian - when Deasy was looking doubtful on Sat - my eldest asked who would go in nets if he went off?

I voted for Nicky Clee.

Who would it have been?

I'm fine with Sunday evening - it seems as good a time as any for it - in my opinion better than just after a match when tensions are usually high after a loss and not forgetting all those involved with the match are still occupied with relevant jobs.

I view this a bit like an "employee presentation/briefing" that you'd get at work - you dont normally circulate the presentation pack beforehand - you present on the day and explain points - with a Q&A at the end - fairly similar to what looks to be happening to me.

Clearly this process took time, but then the board members who commissioned it have day jobs to attend to and likely needed time to meet and absorb its content and then I assume formulate a plan of action.

With the exception of Bill currently - I wouldnt think many of the board read the forum any more, similar to a lot of fans, who all seem to have tired of some of the talk on here over recent months.

I thought it was a good achievement of a stadium - clearly work in progress but in the main done well.  There was plenty of legroom and good visibility in the seats I was in, and I liked the standing area beneath the seated area.  There were no viewing obstructions anywhere.  The speakers/tannoy was well equipped and very clear to hear.

When will fans admit the issue is with the Board, they continually show thier inability  to run a football club.

Ok, you’re really starting to annoy me now.
We have a new management team who have barely warmed the seat and you’re already harping on that it’s the Board’s fault we lost. If the Board were forcing the managers to play a set team/formation or if the Board were actually playing in the match then yes, I can understand your point.
But come on! You’ve more of a one-track mind than an adolescent teenage boy who has just discovered some of the more “adult” sections of the internet.
Get a grip!
And Ginrail, Spazzy Paddy, Tuna (or whatever your name is this week) and all the others who seem intent on blaming the Board for everything wrong with the world, from the war in Syria to the rise of Donald Trump, how about offering constructive criticism as opposed to just criticism.
Maybe start with who you would put in charge of the first team, and how you would find the budget to do that. You can then move on to who you would replace the Board with and how you would attract those people.
We can all criticise but unless you offer a viable alternative then you’re adding nothing but f-ing misery to the situation and, quite frankly, you’re beginning to pi55 me off!

Well said.

Here here.

Why worry Grahame Rowley never reads any of them as he doesnt care what the fans think, only his precious community club.

If you want to raise an issue or post then start your own topic - your post has nothing to do with this thread so why post!

Robins Lecoste - I think that may be an assertion that is unprovable; and it has the fallacy baked in to it that those who work for the club cannot be fans.  Given it only takes one counter example to disprove an assertion I give you Brian Flynn; works for the club, and is a fan.

Can i suggest a change from "work" to "volunteer" - there are not many who get paid to work at Alty !

I heard on the radio Rashford won this category.

I'm on the verge of locking this thread.

There's too much personal abuse involved. I'm perplexed that im going to have to explain why once I've reviewed it properly.

Anyone have any thoughts on the important stuff said at the AGM?

18 posts and only the 1st 3 had any relevance to the AGM before the snipeing came out.

I didnt attend the AGM, but I thought the outcome was very positive with a number of things addressed such as the John Edwards Q&A.

The board has been critisised for communication previously - but within 3 hours of the meeting finishing there was a full and comprehensive report on the website informing all of what was said.

I have to remember far too much in life already without the need to keep trying to work out who has changed their username and who they were before.

Its already a psuedoname therefore anonymous if you so wish, but absolutely no need to change it.  I take far more notice of posts where I recognise the username rather than a new random name with 4567 posts who I think, I'm sure they've been around a while but I dont remember them.
