Reading that article about St. Ambrose has got me wondering where most of our fans went to school.
Think i've covered all the schools within the area.
-
I went to Bradbury Secondary Modern, a stones throw from the ground on Queens Road. It was opposite Stamford Park Juniors.

Heyes Lane, then Green Lane, the latter being full of scummers and ineffective teachers who liked to suspend people for truancy. Genius! Now at Mass Bay Community College, where the IP address is inexplicably barred from this forum, been wondering why for a while!
Sam Sheridan was a few years above me at Green Lane.
Ah, my old junior school, preceded by the wee C of E infants school in Timperley!
