I've found out that he is a bit of a local celeb and also have it on good authority via my now extensive local knowledge of weymouth drinking establishments that"Burt"will indeed be performing in said tavern, and hopes you'll be putting in a similar stunning solo peformance on the tamborine as you did last season at the wellington :D ;D

Also led by me, we will be taking in some of the excellent pubs on the harbour side behind where we stayed last season, some top notch ale on offer that im sure will be to your liking! Shame we never bothered having a walk down there last season!.

Trucker,

I quote our honoured fellow traveller Mr Hughes post:

"Also led by me, we will be taking in some of the excellent pubs on the harbour side behind where we stayed last season, some top notch ale on offer that im sure will be to your liking! Shame we never bothered having a walk down there last season!"

Roll out the decent ale  ;)  However, will not be taking a tamborine along this stretch!!

Also think we may need a bigger charabanc from the town centre to the ground and back again.

Tony have u thought of investing in said tamborine,i'm sure you could make good use of it on the moss lane terraces seeing as drums are frowned upon and dsliked by all and sundry,as for the harbour front hostelry's,didn't we go there or was the stella playing tricks on me,roll on salisbury for the 1st night of debaucherey, hope youv;e managed to secure a large vehicle for that one!!

found some good hotels in torquay are we doing a 2 night stop ???

Brads,

I believe that the nightlife is centred around the harbour are, so a hotel in that region would be better - less distance for trucker to stagger back  ;D

Right - must get on t'intaweb to look for a tamborine. ;)

Think an early start may be in order on the Saturday - we managed it for Exeter, and Torquay's only another 40 minutes or so further. Should get to Wetherspoons in time for breakfast  ;)
