TASC (The Altrincham Supporters Club) is considering a re-launch with the aim of being more representative of fans and redefining its role in helping the club.

We'd love to know what fans think of TASC - the good, the bad and the ugly - and how it could work better. We'll be meeting on Tuesday 22nd November @ 7.30pm in the Vice Presidents' Lounge at The J.Davidson Stadium and welcome all fans to attend to give their opinion.

Any ideas/views on how the supporters' club should be organised & operated are welcome.

TASC Relaunch Meeting

TASC (The Altrincham Supporters Club) met on Tuesday evening to discuss a potential re-launch with the aim of being more representative of fans & redefining its role in helping the the club.

The meeting was well attended, with around twenty supporters present & the discussion focused on where TASC is now & what it could look like in the future. The discussion identified specific successes that TASC had achieved since its formation in 2007 & also areas that could be improved upon going forward.

From this discussion, a number of core obectives for a new look supporters group were agreed & there was a discussion relating to the roles that are deemed to be needed within that group, including agreeing that these roles would be filled by a combination of some individuals continuing to carry out their existing jobs within the new group, whilst other existing & new roles would be opened up for supporters to put themselves forward for.

Further details will be published of the meeting within the next few days, although it was agreed that the re-launch of TASC, which would probably take place in January, would be the best time to reveal the complete plan to take TASC forward, including objectives.
