Signs for Solihull Moors
-
Lightweight.
Good luck to him.
-
Strikes me as something NY would have done..... sign a player one week ship him out the next. It was odd to sign another right back when we have Patterson and we are crying out for a winger.
-
Hopefully we can bring in a player that actually has a significant impact, now.

I share that concern.

Alternatively perhaps Dens is making better progress? Patterson has always looked better further up the field to me.

We are assuming he's been let go, if he was non contract and a higher placed club has put in 7 days approach, then maybe it's what he wants to do.
-
Good luck to the lad obviously, but from the two occasions I saw him play, he contributed precisely nothing.
-
No major loss tbh, wages better spent elsewhere.
-
WTF is going on this season.

That's how I see it.
What Solihull have seen in him I've no idea. Won t be losing any sleep over his departure.
-
He'll probably move on again before long looking at his recent record. His agent is probably doing nicely.
-
Can't blame the lad, at the end of the day he was offered a job at a club in a higher league.
Good luck Curtis.

Although Harvey is now reaching the Neil Young realm of ineffective signings we've got to remember that he's picking from the scraps here. Young did his woeful transfer business during pre season, and had an open loan market to tap into at the beginning of the season. In Jim's defence there won't be much about for him to choose from. A player was available locally with Conference pedigree, I'd have signed Obeng too.

Lot of sense in your post.

I wouldn't have then proceeded to play him as an auxillary striker however. Also, it was a strange signing in the sense that Patterson has been one of the most consistent performers this season so right back was one of the last areas I would have looked to strengthen.
I agree Jim is limited to who he can bring in at this stage but I don't think that's an excuse to bring in players from here there and everywhere, there still needs to be a bit of logic behind it. I would have much rather he showed us his managerial skills in terms of having made a positive impact on the squad tactically, which unfortunately doesn't seemed to have happened so far.

Maybe the plan was to put patterson RW..

If that was the plan then he had three opportunities to try it but never did so I doubt that was the case.

It's a bit odd driving to Solihull to play football when you live in Sale.

Not if they offer more money and it means not being relegated and played upfront...

As regards this particular Curtis, love will not tear us apart.

It doesn't look like this Curtis was able to stomach being in Macc for very long as well.

Lost 3-0. Should be used to that sort of thing after his short stint here.

-
I'd forgotten that Hasler Cregg even existed
