Duncan starts in what looks like a first team friendly at Hartlepool, hope he puts on a good show.

I work with a girl whose fella is a season ticket holding Maccum.  Apparently he played really well in their last friendly against Darlo.  Whole first team squad got 45 each including Dunc

Apparently there's an interview with Duncan too. Not sure if you need to register to see though.

Duncan played right back last night, which is an interesting move by Gus Poyet.

Highlights & an interview with Duncan on the Sunderland website....it's free but you have to register (which is very simple) to view these.

A very good interview . How refreshing to see an interview with a lad who can speak well without the use of the usual cliches churned out by the so called elite of the premiership. There are a few managers who could watch that interview and learn a few things.

Well done Duncan

really hope Duncan makes it this season....very refreshing to have such a level headed nice young lad in top flight football which given his talent and rise to nearly the top is something.

the sort of player you pay your admission to watch....I am convinced he is destined for England honours
