20% seems very high, I'd be surprised if it is as high as that.

Sell ons tend to be higher when the original fee is lower. I doubt they'll sell him in January since they'll have paid out a lot while he's been out of action. On the evidence of their league position, they'll need him to be a driving force in stopping their plummet towards League 1.

I am quite happy to ask the question, however I suspect that it is a matter between Sunderland and Altrincham.

These things are normally not allowed to be made public until after the fee incurring the sell-on clause has been paid.

Well, I was informed a couple of years ago by the then Assistant Manager that there was indeed a sell-on clause involved in Duncan's sale to Sunderland.
