This is a fantastic result. You only had to look at Kettering's starting XI to see the quality they have. Judging by the snippets on here it sounds like it was fully deserved too. A side who have always been hard to beat as well over the many years we've played them, well done lads.

Just got back.  That was superb-Doran and Clee, Ant and Sean-all of them.  Quiet night for Coburn thankfully which was testemony to our play I think.  Well done lads!!

Brilliant result considering the players we have injured.

Clee is just going from strength to strength!

Great result and we played some great attacking football. Whole team put the effort in.  :)

Just back from the game. Brilliant result. we played really well in the second part of the first half and the Kettering defence was ran ragged by Nikki Clee

Overall a good solid performance and well deserved 3 points.

Give John Mcalisky time he had a really good game tonight, just bear in mind he was playing two leagues lower than the BSP when we got him

Well done to all the lads tonight a superb effort

Roll on Rushden.

Clee fully deserved his Man of the Match award tonight, but every one of them was a hero. The last 20 minutes of the first half was some of the best football I've seen us play in this League.

Most importantly though, did Steve from Sale do his McAliskey dance?  :o

No, we did the chant after he scored though, and when he was substituted. I charged across the terracing to join in with the chant, but we were all so hyped up from the goal what it sounded disjointed. Understandably becuase this was a vital goal.

Great game, thoroughly enjoyed myself, some of our attacking was frenzied, as I remember from the late 70s and early 80s.

the fact that 7 of our starting 11 were playing in lower leagues points to an excellent eye for talent and where we should be looking in the summer, no exleague big names required.
